同化：s 碰到 you

In fluent speech, when an /s/ sound is followed by a /j/, the /s/ changes to a /ʃ/ sound. This change also happens when the next word begins with the /ʃ/ sound itself. It can also happen if the /s/ is followed by a /t/, because the /t/ disappears between two consonants.

发 /j/ 时舌面抬向硬腭，s 被它一带，舌头位置往后挪，就成了 /ʃ/。所以 bless you 读成 blesh-you，this yacht 读成 thish-yacht。

后面直接是 sh 的词也一样：this shirt 读成 thish-shirt，两个 /ʃ/ 再合成一个稍长的（第 6 课）。如果 s 后面还有个 t，比如 just shut，t 先被吞掉（第 18 课），s 再变 /ʃ/：jush-shut。
